When it comes to ink, there are of course the classics, the tried-and-tested staple shades; the blacks and blues, but sometimes, you’ve just got to jazz it up with something fun.

Most pens offer ink cartridges in a limited selection of colours! I want to change that by bringing you this range of beautifully rich and distinctive inks - with no need to dispose of, or replace an empty cartridge.

These wonderfully free-flowing inks come in a number of beautiful and nuanced shades. They truly are a joy to write or create with! 

 

GOOD TO KNOW

  • For use in Fountain Pens, The Lumos and all dip pens.

  • Because the ink has such a concentrated colour you can even dilute it with a smidge of water (ideally distilled) to create watercolour like washes and depth of colour.

  • Each bottle holds 50ml of this lovely ink, enough to keep you going for reams of writing, drawing or doodling. 

  •  All of our inks are water-based, acid-free, non-toxic, and are vegan-friendly.
     
  • Each Ink comes beautifully presented in a stunning bottle and antique laid paper, gold-foiled label.

    We Ship Internationally. We take care of VAT and customs duty for EU customers. Your order will be shipped within 48 hours when in stock, please refer to lead times of the product you are buying, as some handmade / hand dipped products may take longer until we send them. Delivery is calculated from dispatch. All UK orders are shipped using Royal Mail Tracked 48. If you need your order by a specific date there is a next-day Special Delivery option.

    Fountain pen inks are highly 'layerable' which means you can build different intensities or colour by putting more or less ink down on the paper. This creates beautiful shading and variation but please also bear in mind that the colour on the label may also not perfectly represent what you achieve when using different pens or techniques.

    It's a phenomena that the ink lovers among us will know all too well. Inky Goodness is the experience of opening a new bottle and putting down the first strokes on paper. There's that 'Ooo' moment when you start to see the ink dry and different shades and hues of the ink reveal themselves. Then there's the satisfaction of having a colour and pen combination that nobody else has. There really are no boundaries with ink, you can write, illustrate, design, make a mess :) but undeniably Inky Goodness is all about the joy of creating whatever you want to.

    I friend of mine brought it back for me from the UK bc of my love for pens/calligraphy. It’s my new obsession. I never seen such well thought out writing instruments, from proper weight of pen being held, comfort in its use, and convenience of quickly changing color & felt and metal nibs. Their inks flow beautifully and intermix to create new colors easily. They are made to last a lifetime.

    Totally Excellent Pen

    Really happy to recommend Tom's Studio. The website describes everything in great detail and everything lives up to your expectations when you receive the pen and the ink. The Neptune green ink that I ordered is a truely lovely colour and overall I am really very pleased. Tom is 💯% on 🎯

    Fountain pen

    Love the quality and size and feel in action. But have had leaks from the ink ‘refill’ so will need to get the silicon gel and try using the barrel for the ink. Could be linked but can take a bit to get the nib flowing

    Ethereal colour

    This is such a beautiful colour - dark but soft and gentle. I use it for letters and cards - so words are clear but not harsh.
